Momentum can swing quickly in a series, and we’ve seen it this year, but I agree. Even winning game 1 felt a little hollow. Columbus is just on a roll and the Bruins can’t do anything about it.

 

I’m not gonna pretend like Marchand isn’t a pest, but this series has been very chippy after the whistle. Both teams are getting shots in when the refs aren’t watching.

 

Agreed but this one is clearly different imo. Like, Krug and Bjorkstrand going at each other is fine with me bc they are both willing participants. This is someone down and turned away. Not much else to say.

I never thought I’d be rooting for CBJ after they cornered the trade deadline market, but here we are.

 

Followed for the Marchand / Boston hate.

 

I don’t know what I actually want to have seen happen. I didn’t expect a suspension or fine, but at the same time, when there is a player history and you are saying you want to legislate hits to head out of the game, it feels a bit hollow to not act in some capacity after a dirty move like this. Idk what the answer is, but letting this go un-checked also feels wrong to me. Fluto for the Athletic is the only one I’ve seen try to defend this play at least.
