Yeah I’m not saying it’s not a good game. I’m saying it’s very obvious to me why it isn’t for some though, because I am one of them despite trying my best to not be. If you bring those weird choices they made up, fans dismiss your criticism by calling the choices “deliberate”, as if deliberate means good.

 

I loved the intro and some of the beginning parts but input lag makes my hands hurt. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Unfortunately this is not some weird joke or hyperbole.

 

Gaming journalism needs to stop worrying about biting the hand that feeds and be more honest. Like there’s this unspoken fear of stepping on a company’s toes by putting down a game, why? Because a team of people made it? The same can be said about movies, TV shows, or any other form of entertainment, games shouldn’t be exempt from that.

 

RDR2 is a good game. I just think it's far from perfect and hate that any sort of criticism towards it is met with very angry responses dismissing your opinion.

 

yeah but this mainly only happens with Rockstar games haha

that said the fact that gaming journalists are actually friends with a lot of devs and actually get jobs in the industry regularly is... problematic.

 

I personally love Rockstar’s games but I do agree with the criticism these guys bring up about their games, especially the one about RDR2.

 

you can like/love stuff and still see the flaws in it. Like the lack of dungeons in BOTW even though it's my favorite game LOL

 

I’ve even heard people defend bad mission design that they acknowledge as bad mission design by saying that the game isn’t about missions. At that point, what are we doing? Lol

 

I too love Rockstar games. Except this one lol

 

I LOVE Persona 5, but there's still a couple of things that I don't like about it

Why the fuck was Morgana constantly making me go to sleep

 

It’s about making sure Arthur takes a bath once in a while and that he completes those cigarettes card collections.

 

The outrage you receive if you say you enjoyed GTA4 lol

 

I also just wanted to make an outlaw gang in the online multiplayer and Rockstar wouldn’t let me.

 

I LOVED THAT GAME lol

 

You know what people need to point out about Rockstar? The fact they charge so much for their old games on PSN? Fuck you, the PS2 GTA games shouldn’t cost $10 each. $10 should get me the whole trilogy.

 

They're in every other sale though

 

The fighting system is much more rigid but evenly leveled on MK11, I’m loving it. Also love the insane amount of Easter eggs I’ve noticed so far towards Skyrim, DC characters, Mortal Kombat movies and actual movies. This is the most packed MK game I’ve ever played.

Also happy to receive the crazy large handout from Netherrealm this week even though the outrage didn’t really incite anything in me.

I do need to play more games in my backlog, lately I’ve just been playing Pinball FX3’s Williams tables.

 

Probably do it to create incentive to buy them. Everyone loves a sale lol. Whereas there's PS2 games on the store that I haven't bought because they're permanently cheap.

 

The Star Wars/Bob’s Burgers tables are my favorites.

 

The Star Wars tables for the new trilogy have been really good so far, I especially like The First Order one.
