Have you played it? Only games I've played that are worse this gen are Mad Max and Just Cause 3

 

The only TF2 that matters to me is Team Fortress 2

 

I played some multiplayer, which I think is good. I also played parts of the campaign, but like I said I don’t really care much for 90% of first person shooter campaigns to begin with, so I don’t really have an opinion. Seemed well made lol

Days Gone is pretty fun so far. The main character is a dullard as expected which is going to make having any sort of connection to this story tough but all the gameplay is fun.

 

People will hate on my opinion, but people here have said they "don't like JRPGs" and dismiss every JRPG ever. I like some FPSs but really don't like that game

 

I loved Wolfenstein/Wolfenstein 2 and the Metro games but overall FPS hardly does it for me ever. When it’s done right though I really like it.

I’ve heard it’s sort of similar to the first Assassins Creed/Watch Dogs where there’s some really good stuff there and potential that if a sequel is made it could really take off

 

Yeah you could make a whole lot of comparisons to those games. The way it takes itself 100% seriously in a sort of soap opera way reminds me a lot of the story of the first Watch Dogs

 

It’s moreso the argumentative way in which this thread functions, which I very much like if I’m being honest. It’s just funny how something as tepid as my question can result in both “this is the best” and “this sucks shit”

Of all mediums discussed on this forum video games get both the strongest reaction and have the least effect on culture. I like both observing and participating, but it’s fascinating that nobody cares enough to shit talk bad records yet this thread brings out the hottest of takes

Days Gone would be so much cooler if you actually had a full gang like RDR2. Or maybe you could recruit characters into your crew and could go on missions with them and build your camp 'clubhouse' up. It needs some more mechanics that advantage of the fact that the protagonist is a biker other than just having a motorcycle for me to have any interest in it.

 

I wish this was a RPG, love the setting. still gonna buy it.
