After watching it again I see that 24 isn't racist. It's just highlighting US racist domestic and foreign policy. It's got plot lines based on racial profiling, torture being bad not good, and while there were terrorists who were Muslim they actually did a pretty good job of having that not be the case very often including having homegrown terrorists/government officials being terrorists instead of always being foreign. Lots of Russian terrorists, probably more than Muslim ones honestly.

There's also lots of bad stuff like the whole police state stuff and bad presidents who do bad things that they shouldn't do (there's really only 1 or 2 "good" presidents throughout the show)

The better presidents were the 2 black men and 1 woman. The white men were all power hungry white assholes so kind of like real life.
Overall I'd give it a solid 7.5/10 rating for the original 8 seasons. Haven't rewatched 9 yet but I remember liking it before.

That first season is 10/10 though must see tv.
