Hell yeah, going to look into Beck, Slipknot, and Hootie & the Blowfish for that.

 

gonna get Alice in Chains and Smashing Pumpkins for that, hope some smaller shows end up on the list as well

I hope we get a full U.S. Kurt Vile/Dinosaur Jr. tour. They’re already playing some shows together this summer, but if they’re both playing this, then I feel like that should be a lock

 

They usually do. Last year The Used were doing a club tour and there was like 4 dates all within a two hour drive for me on the list but they weren't named on the banner.

 

If I remember correctly, that $20 also includes fees! I saw Chance and Future/Migos a couple summers ago and ticket availability went quick!

I recently discovered that the singer of The Smoking Popes is the music pastor at one of those "mArRiAgE iS bEtWeEn OnE mAn AnD oNe WoMaN aNd AbOrTiOn Is MuRdEr" churches, so I don't feel very comfortable giving money to them.

Yeah was gonna be in Philly for Warped when they were in town and was considering it but it's a hard pass now.

That church definitely has a history of gross shit. The news articles I could find are from a while back before he was involved, but I'd still rather not risk supporting somebody with those views.

 

I don't really have to agree with the views of the people who produce products & services I like, HOWEVER giving people with harmful views a platform is pretty dangerous, and 90% music is so personal it is hard to separate the artist's views from their lyrics.

 

Oh god. I knew he was a pastor, but I had no idea that was the type if church he was involved in. That’s super disappointing

 

Agreed 100%. Even if there's an artist with different philosophical views or habits that I don't agree with, that's cool, but if those views directly impact someone else's livelihood in a negative way, then hell no.
