Other than Doughboys I listen to a few video game podcasts and also Chris Hayes' podcast and that's pretty much it. It's all I can keep up with really lol

Sort of. Radio is live which means current events, news, sports, etc. all of that is being discussed as things are happening. Podcasts are more like an airing of a TV Show that was pre-recorded.

 

i have an irrational urge to punch chris hayes in the face every time i see a picture of him and i don't know why

 

think I'm gonna start a petition to try and get Hulu to allow users to pause by clicking anywhere on the screen (ala Netflix; YouTube)

I listen to my music most of the day at work. I've tried listening to podcasts a few times and they just aren't for me. I can't listen to them and work at the same time, so if I'm trying to work then I'm missing a bunch of what's being said in the podcast. I like to just have music as a background noise so I don't have to listen to all the white noise of being in an office

Ah ok, cool. My wife has a bunch of family in Tipperary area. Went to visit a few years ago and had a lot of fun. Trying to figure out a time to get back out there.

 

y'all ever noticed it's always your uncle that's the stereotypical off the rails conservative uncle that says stuff like this at holiday get-togethers but it's never your own dad?

 

What's crazy is that...this was like my hippie uncle, not what you'd expect a stereotypical uncle to be. He's normally the cooler one that isn't as crazy as everyone else and then he dropped that bomb

I like Thrice, despite their newest album being not that good. It's a shame there's so many bad takes in their thread that it has come to this.
