I think that's a fair take. I think there are ten or so players who are elite-esque and then picks like 11-a lot are a lot closer.

When you hit a mothafucka, you hit that mothafucka Prestigious

I just disagree with that entirely. Picks 11-70 being a wash?? Come on now lol

    Trusted

Yeah. That's definitely true. It increases the excitement and intrigue.

    The rivalry is back on

I haven’t seen much consensus this year past the top 15 or so. Especially with WR after Metcalf, CB, safety, DL after the top 8 or so, OL after the top 2, etc

This draft is very good but yeah i cant think of single position other than TE that has an undisputed #1

Yeah but it’s definitely tiered at least. Picks 15-35 are gonna be better than picks 36-70 and that’s just being conservative

Like, sure DeAndre Baker could be valued just as high as Byron Murphy and Greedy Williams, that’s fine but if you go all the way to pick 70 then you’re saying it’s a wash to take Trayvon Mullen over any of those guys. And no it fucking isn’t hahaha

When you hit a mothafucka, you hit that mothafucka Prestigious

Like, would you take Dre’Mont Jones over Christian Wilkins? Absolutely not haha

I think the closeness of talent in this draft just means it’s a deep draft... but that doesn’t mean there isn’t any hierarchy of value between rounds 1 & 2. That’s crazy talk haha

So tell me something awesome Supporter

No but Dre'Mont Jones could be better than Christian Wilkins

But the point of valuing Wilkins higher is, you think it’s unlikely Jones pans out better

And the point of Chris Ballard's statement is that NFL GMs might have a different opinion on the disproportion of talent than a bunch of nerds like us on a forum

Well, I just don’t agree with Ballard haha. He’s saying the talent at the top is weak and I don’t agree with that either. This draft is one of the better drafts since I started paying attention

I’m just a nerd on a forum but I still think I’d align more with a different GM’s perspective

  13. Possibly. But they’ve met with him multiple times and he went to dinner with Hurney and others.

I agree with this, but also have no idea who picks 15-35 will be

It wouldn’t be shocking if Jones went before Wilkins or Mullen went over Baker IMO

Edit: was thinking Lawrence, not Wilkins. I think Wilkins is in that elite group at the top, but think that holds true for Lawrence v Dremont

    Lets Go. Prestigious

I think assuming Miami DOESN'T go QB, they end up with one of Jonah Williams, Christian Wilkins, or Jeffery Simmons (trade down)

last year I had them taking Minkah so I nailed that one

To me it would haha big time. Every draft is full of insane surprises though so I won’t rule it out. But even if it happens I don’t have to like or agree with the move haha.

Like, we all thought Laken Tomlinson a few years back would be a third round guard and he got taken as a first round right tackle haha

Wilkins and Lawrence are gonna get drafted onto the same team and I’ll continue to mix them up for all eternity

And by mix them up, I mean call them both Wilkins and forget Lawrence exists

Never said a wash. More so just that the talent is close enough where you're gonna take "your guy" even if there may be someone more talented out there because they're close enough and you like yours better. I think some guys will fall and some guys will randomly climb.

Yeah @Randall Mentzos is the only person who has really said "wash"

Ballard just said "pretty close" which =/= "wash"

Baker is on the same tier as Murphy and Greedy and I would absolutely not like relying on Mullen instead.

Idk I definitely think it's close and don't see Baker on that tier

Could see them trading up for Sweat

I think Baker is firmly #3 and firmly above any other corner. But at the same time I've seen Baker outside of people's top 8 which is bananas.

Also gonna chime in and say that Brian Burns is very good.
