I have a theory that this band doesn't actually exist

 

What if it was a full-length of cover songs

 

Full length of silence.

 

I want 11 tracks of Jesse reading the newspaper

 

Honestly, if it was cover songs that I liked and they did a really good job of putting their own spin on the songs, I wouldn't even be that mad

 

I'm just gonna go listen to Hamilton and forget Brand New exists until Tuesday

 

Really thought they would've released a single prior to the new tour. Or that they'd just play it all of a sudden on it. But then again, that wouldn't be very Brand New of them would it.

 

It seems exhausting to be just waiting for them to release an album.

 

What if Brand New is just a dream. And it's a figurative band that is everything we want in a band. What if.

 

Brand New is just a myth parents tell their punk kids to help them sleep at night.

How is that a ripoff?

 

I saw the flowers and thought the exact same thing.

I don't seriously think they're ripping from Brand New, though. Haha.

 

They're both ripping off my grandma's couch.

 

They're "killing" the band off, so I guess you give flowers for a funeral. Makes sense.

 

I figured they were just poking fun. Edit: Wish more bands would, honestly ha.

Original Post is gone but I honestly saw the YC shirt WHILE wearing my brand new shirt and turned the computer towards my boyfriend and was like "well I guess I need this!" so I bought it. they are awfully similar.
Edited to add: I'm actually stoked to have two similar shirts symbolizing the same thing for my 2 favorite bands.

In other news I was able to redeem a ticketmaster voucher for the Miami Brand New/Modest Mouse show so I guess I will be seeing them 3 times on this tour! I'm pretty excited.

Wild you can remember such small details about a dream. I'm lucky if I can remember anything that happened during my dreams/nightmares.
