dieter ruehle Playing the Twin Peaks theme REGULARLY at dodger stadium is one of my all time favorite things. I looked it up and it looks like maybe sports writer Sung Min Kim suggested it to him and then my dad, not a sports fan really but a big Twin Peaks fan told me Mark Frost wrote The Greatest Game Ever Played and suggested maybe there’s a sports writer connection? (Frost co-created Twin Peaks with David Lynch)

Anyway, great dodger game tonight so far.

 

I ran a query about intentional walks with the bases empty and zero outs. it's happened 10 times ever (that we know of). bonds shows up a lot, of course. frank howard was IBB'd to lead off an inning twice in the same game by the same pitcher, who he had owned in his career.

half came around to score lol. ryan howard didn't.
