I'm surprised how so many people don't agree that From Parts Unknown is their best album. Like... Head and shoulders above anything else they have done. It's not even close for me anymore.

An ETID album produced by Matt Bayles. Can you guys imagine?

His resume is so diverse and impressive, I think I could get behind it. It would definitely sound different than the other albums.

None at all. His history with Botch is what intrigued me the most.

It's so painfully obvious how bad Pete is as a screamer on revolution. He can't hold a candle to Keith. Almost ruins that song.

I think it sounds just fine.

Just compared to Keith it sounds kind of bad

  14. Yea, what's Pete's part?

Yeah he does the "hearts aren't beating" part and some yelling at the end.

I guess I'm so used to how bad his screams are on the occasional FOB track that next to a great screamer he seems rough

This is 100% how I feel too. Grew up on Hot Damn and Gutter Phenomenon, absolutely loved them. Was into Big Dirty, but kind of fell off by New Junk just because I was fading out of the heavy music scene. But Ex Lives drug me back in a major way, and FPU totally blew me away. I think it's their best yet, and Low Teens could certainly take the top spot too.

I still think Hot Damn and Ex Lives are slightly above FPU but hey when you have a catalog this good it's nothing but winners

Ex Lives and Hot Damn are my favorites. I don't like to rank beyond that. All of them are excellent to some extent.

Oh this is where everyone went. Need ETID in my life. I can't force myself to go to Warped to just see them though

Thanks! How hard it was to pick between so many of their songs really speaks volumes about how consistent this band has been.

Easy Tiger is one of my all-time ETID favorites. I know it's not the actual lyric, but I swear I still mistakenly hear "Johnny Damon, you're God!" every time I've heard it for the past ten years, haha.
