Out of curiosity, I went to Triple Crown's website to see if Weatherbox is still listed as a current artist and not an alumni - and he is!

I don't know how up to date their site is but hopefully that means that Brian will put something out through TCR as they’re one of my favorite labels so fingers crossed

 

They arrived in NYC. Nice.

 

Any info on what they played at the SoCal shows?

they absolutely slayed tonight in NYC, it was like scott pilgrim energy coming out their instruments, my god. Latest scoop is that the Buddah record is dropping in the next few months and the box has more Flies B-sides recorded with half home that will be coming out as well over the next few months (sounds like a solid amount of material to be released). Brian is writing the new Box record, but not sure if it will be ready for this year.

Anyone happen to download that old practice video that came out around 2011? I could be wrong but I think there were 2 videos from that same session. I believe they play smelly or smonks on it, and darlene loves juicy fruit too.

 

Thanks! I bet the show was a blast, all the videos i saw from it looked like most of the crowd was singing along. Would love to just once go to a show where the crowd is that dope!
