For the most part, agreed, but I also don’t think many of them tweet out about stuff like this, and the response usually comes in the days that follow. This has been especially true for Pelosi, who tends to not really addrsss controversial stuff Trump does on her Twitter but will be asked in a press conference a couple days later and say he’s wrong and etc. But in the meantime everyone spends two days being very mad online at Pelosi not saying anything and it’s just a really weird dynamic that I can’t really ‘get into’, for lack of a better term. Maybe we all expect the instant reaction because some of our favorites like Bernie tend to do so or something.

For me it is not so much about whether Pelosi is online or not, but it is more about how important what is happening is.

Literally the two most powerful Democrats haven’t said a word, maybe that’s because Schumer compared her to trump at AIPAC and Pelosi has already thrown her under the bus.

Oh, and of the 40 fucking Democrats running for office, only three have spoken out and one of them has like 30 total supporters.

The Democratic Party is filled with cowards.

They won’t stand up for her because they don’t want to. Most want her gone anyway.

There is very little daylight between Schumar and Dan Crenshaw when it comes to Omar. Any democrat who has still remained silent can fuck right off.

“We want someone young and fresh with new ideas”
“So if they Election were held tomorrow...”
“Joe Biden! And I’m fucking excited about it!”

Seriously not sure how Biden has more people excited than...anyone else. I understand having the biggest comfort number...but excitement?

  8. Ok dude when you slander people and fuel violent racism you don't get praise when you finally decide it's become slightly too violent for me actually

Yeah I think it’s definitely good to spend more time yelling at Dems for not supporting someone as Dems come forward to support that someone.

    It is...interesting to watch.

Who would have thought Inslee would be the third candidate to come out defending Omar?

I just went to my congresswoman’s twitter to see if she’s commented as a member of the CBC...she’s tweeted once since February :(

Her Facebook has a lot more posts but it’s mostly all local politics stuff and generic posts about the tax law and women’s equal pay day.

Starting to like him a lot more...if he can get to the debates and just pivot to climate change in every single question asked, it’ll be a win

It certainly wasn’t gonna be Cory fucking Booker.

But don’t worry, he had time to tweet out the link to the new Star Wars teaser. So his priorities are in order.

You know people can do more than one thing at a time? We’re obviously far more irate at the right who are villianizing Ilhan. However, why shouldn’t we be angry and upset and let down by the party we need to support when the majority are happy sitting on the sidelines of this issue. If they’re not out here defending her at all times, then they’re tacitly approving of the way she’s been villianized.

"Happily sitting on the sideline" or "not posting about it on twitter"?? I think there's a rush to take the anger out on someone where it will feel useful, because we all know the rage at the GOP from us is impotent.

If Nancy ducks the question for the next two weeks I'll be mad at her, but I can't get into the outrage machine because there hasn't immediate comments from everyone yet. I mean, Eleanor Holmes Norton hasn't tweeted about it yet but do we really believe she tacitly endorses calling Ilhan an anti-american terrorist sympathizer? Come on, man.

He wouldn’t stand up for Omar but he did take the time to praise George W. Bush.

    Lol.

    What a coward.
