so, that AT&T deal i took advantage of? they changed the terms after the fact and canceled my order. after they took my money, said my phone number was ported over, and confirmed i had met all the terms and conditions. i have a transcript.

is there anything i can do here? after an hour on the phone i got what sounded like an 18 year old supervisor who was dead silent and said they were as high as it goes. do we have any customer service navigation pros in here?

no they are returning the money but i checked out with the promotion in my cart with a green check mark next to it and received confirmation the terms and conditions had been fulfilled. my phone was preparing for shipment. how the fuck do they get off deciding they’re in the right to cancel my entire order over their mistake at that point? they didn’t even go “oh we can still process your order just not the TV”, which i would have been more ok with but still pissed. they just cancelled the whole thing without calling or emailing me. i would have literally never known if i didn’t check the order status page.

AT&T would be my new provider. for the last 7 years i’ve just bought an unlocked phone at full retail and gone with prepaid service because it was so much cheaper in the long run. now the gap has closed a lot and it makes more sense to go with a traditional contract for me.
