I dunno, I figured after risking his life in the whole 3rd act that maybe he changed his heart a little bit. I feel like that would be natural. No matter how it's justified, it still feels off to me.

Lol I missed Ian McDiarmid coming out after they played the trailer and saying in full Palpatine voice "Roll it again."

 

Palpatine was also trying to woo Anakin with a tale about preventing death in order to sway him, so its not necessarily a real thing that can happen in this world.

I just finished watching the whole panel. Typical Star Wars Celebration panel, but I loved every second of it.

 

The panel was literally just 70 minutes of foreplay before the happy ending.

 

Sounds like a dec time.

 

It was a great time. Maybe not as great of a time as, say, watching TLJ was but it was a great time.
