Fournette was the right pick. You can hindsight picks sure but ignoring scheme and vision doesnt make any sense. Obviously CMC is the better back but for what we were trying to do? Fournette was absolutely the pick.

 

But you would rather Mahomes/Watson and either Cook/Mixon or Kamara ... or what was Bortles and Fournette?

I think when healthy Fournette is a stud. He intimidates me and I'm hundreds of miles away looking at him on TV haha

 

Then why did your team choose to ignore scheme and vision by playing Fournette like shit

 

Yeah, I don't think the decision to draft him was wrong or anything at all. Hindsight is 20/20 and isn't really fair to use as an arguing point, imo

I just think that at this point, he's only shown that he's average and can't stay as healthy as you'd want out of such a highly picked running back.

 

Yeah I'd rather have Foles and Fournette.

 

Watson and Kamara on the same team would be so dope

Though these great QBs would have no one to throw to

 

Yeah Watson/Kamara > Foles/Fournette (probably)

But I also think if the Jags drafted Dalvin Cook in the 2nd instead of Leonard Fournette we'd be having the exact same conversation we are now except with more malice

 

Watson/Kamara is what should've been. No scary Texans
