Statcast seems to have trouble with balls down the line. Tellez’s homer tonight, Hoskins on Monday that hung in the air forever right down the line, and Trout’s last May that got measured at 524 despite that not being even remotely possibly for where it landed

 

Oh yeah I forgot about that Trout one, that was insanely wrong haha

 

Seeing that Tellez homer on the MLB IG, they show a sideview and there's no way that hit the numbers or was 505 ft

The side angle seems definitive that it doesnt hit, which sucks. I want to see a mythical home run one of these days. I have a memory from childhood of hearing/reading about Mantle hitting one 600 feet or something ridiculous

 

I hope Judge gets perfect circumstances, wind and everything someday, he almost hit the back wall at Yankee Stadium twice, he's probably capable of getting one totally out of Safeco down the lines, his 3rd deck one at Citi Field was stupid lol
