Damn, my calf was virtually painless, but I also have nerve damage so that could be why haha.

Haha yeah probably. It hurts more than the shin imo. The closer he gets to the back of my knee, the worse it is

damn those are both so clean, I really love that style.

and yeah, the lower leg is surprisingly painful in certain area where you wouldn’t think it would.

Thanks! Yeah, I was like, “oh, I could literally fall asleep during a forearm tattoo. This will be a cake walk.” Nope!

Thanks. I’m really stoked on how both these turned out. My wallet is crying tho. But since they weren’t my ideas I felt I had to jump on em

Making me rethink doing a lower leg sleeve now, though, haha.

In the words of LeVar Burton, don’t take my word for it haha. This sucked for me but I didn’t think my shin hurt and a lot of people hate shin tattoos so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Now that Dirk Nowitzki has retired I'm heavily considering getting a tattoo of him doing his fadeaway jumper

I'm deathly afraid of finding out he's a red hat or something after though

I agree with this assessment. The middle of my chest was easily the worst spot, though I've found my pain tolerance slowly going down as I age. The worst part of the lower legs was definitely the sides and back of my knees. And also the healing. I had to walk a lot for my job, and my legs swelled up pretty bad for a couple of days each time.

Holy fuck my legs hurt today lol. It’s ok when I’m sitting and also not too bad when I’m walking, but when I first stand up or have to stand still it kills

I think I went back to wearing shoes and running too soon. I don't scab usually, but this one has.

I feel you. This has been the roughest healing process for me. I’ve never scabbed before but both of these pieces did.

I’ve never needed touch up work before but on the dinosaur piece it looks like I lost some ink in the healing process, enough to where it’s pretty noticeable imo. Has anyone needed to get their work touched up before? If so, what is the etiquette surrounding that process?
