Which is fine, I think. The team with this core still hasn't had a healthy run at the playoffs. Lee is a great role player and, as I'm sure I've said before, MKG is one of the better all-around players in the league and sets them up extremely well with respect to the current trends and emphasis on guys who can guard multiple positions. There's so much flexibility re: line-ups on that roster right now, and I love the idea of Batum and MKG playing together. They don't have a KD/RW, obviously, but the options they have remind me of what OKC can do in terms of relatively seamless switching between big and small line-ups.

 

From that standpoint its different because you're a playoff team, 20 is really not getting you very much at all. If anything its a rip off for Brooklyn but they're at a point where they're strapped against a wall so you have to make moves. Thad wasn't getting them more wins.

 

I heard he Pacers traded For Thad Young and that didn't phase me but I was really hoping they traded Monta to get it done

They needed to do it, but I can't help but feel like they could have gotten more than 20; especially in this draft. It's at least a direction in doing an actual rebuild

TMac just said on the Jump that leadung up to the night he got drafted Jerry Krause was trying to work out a trade between him and Pippen but MJ shut it down. Never heard this story before.

Hield is currently being named as the third pick of the NBA Draft, 2016. The third pick must go to the Boston Celtics, and this is where he might spend the first/rookie year of his career, then might stay or go somewhere else. He plays in the shooting guard position which needs to be filled with a greater player, and he may be the key to success. During his prime year at college, he averaged 25 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists per game. There's a chance he could be drafted in with Evan Turner and Kelly Olynyk being traded to the Chicago Bulls for Jimmy Butler. He'll take Evan Turner's position and even fulfil the starting 5 position, only if Avery Bradley is benched. With Hield as the shooting guard, he might become the next great Celtic with the help of Point Guard Isaiah Thomas (Basketball).

If the Bulls trade Jimmy Butler for Evan Turner and Kelly Olynyk, I am done with the franchise.

Edit: Oh, I guess that is saying it would be Turner, Olynyk, and Buddy for Butler. Got it.

There's a pretty big gap in talent there imo. I'd much rather keep the pick.
