I still stand by the opinion that if more prominent people in that scene took a stand against Tim/AILD more people might take a bigger picture look at the situation. Just one Sam Carter or Keith Buckley and some people just might go "wow I think I might be wrong."

 

For every shit band that tours with AILD, there's gonna be 10 that won't, so we're good.

 

I'm curious to the reactions that people will have if AILD goes on tour with August Burns Red and/or Silent Planet in the future. Jake and Garrett are good friends with Tim as far as I know and a tour together doesn't sound far fetched.

Also jealous the US tour didn't get Unearth.

 

Disappointed but not shocked. Which is pretty much what it's been for me with every other band that's been support for them post-reunion.

 

I'd think Silent Planet are too self-aware and socially conscious to do that, but who knows? I'm pretty far removed from this side of metalcore, so I have no idea.

 

Garret is a very outspoken/socially conscious person for the most part, but it's honestly not too shocking. He talks about forgiveness a lot and on top of the tim situation he also liked that better off tweet which is also super disappointing

Of all the bands who've toured with AILD since the reunion the only one who really surprises me is Unearth. They always seemed like a level headed group of dudes.

 

Wasn’t Jordan the one who tweeted that (more or less) if you supported Trump you weren’t welcome at ETID shows?

Or was that Keith? I always get both of them mixed up.
