Show was less than two hours and was nothing but bangers.

4. Mania

Best mania overall in a while but once we hit the last hour and a half, things felt bogged down by the simple fact that we were on hour seven. I’m assuming time was cut from the women’s main event, which is bullshit. Card needed 5 less matches on the main show. But at the end of the day, we got Seth, Kofi, and Becky all winning which is insane

 

The next couple nights are gonna be reaaalllll interesting

 

it was absolutely better - you should watch it this week if you haven't watched it recently

that WM is very close to all killer and no filler

 

Too bad the shake up isn't until next week

 

It had literally HALF as many matches. How crazy is that

 

hence why it's better

 

I think 31 was a C level ppv that's remembered more fondly than it should because of the main event

 

including pre-show WM31 had 9 matches total - 7 on the main card

Daniel Bryan winning the IC in that crazy ladder match was awesome

Orton's RKO on Seth

DX vs NWO was hokey fun

Rusev on a goddamn tank

Rousey actually looking cool with the Rock

Taker redeeming himself

Rollins cashing in!

it's the best Mania of the last 10 years

WM30 is actually not great outside of the first match and the last match

 

I just looked it up and going through the matches I remember most of them being pretty good. I still like this one better though

 

I watched it two weeks ago and I highly disagree with that.

 

Finish wasn't botched, nor was it dusty. Ronda got pinned, clean. Roll ups can be clean, and this was. Y'all can be so difficult to please Jesus. ThIs was a great show. They need to shorten them for future years but this was one of the best in years

 

But we can all agree that 32 was the worst mania in the 30-35 run, right?

I don't remember a single thing from Taker/Bray except that Bray was hurt and it screwed up the match.

To each their own.

Length definitely hurts any mania but this one didn't drag until the angle match

 

Once again WM got brought down by the sheer number of matches on the card.

Cut the Roman match. Cut the Finn match. Cut the Joe match. Cut the Angle match.

Suddenly you've got a much better event. None of those matches were terrible (outside of the Angle one which I didn't watch because my friend wanted to come watch the Kofi match so I paused it for him and then skipped over the Angle one). But none of them made the event better they just made the event longer.

 

Obviously it wasn't a dusty.....

 

If Ronda’s shoulders weren’t clearly up during part of the pin, I don’t think folks would be as whiny about it (probably still whiny, but less so)

I think that was the intention, for sure. But that is in no way at all what happened. Her entire god damn back came a foot off the ring between the 1 and 2 count.

 

I won't be surprised if Becky gets screwed in some form tomorrow night but hopefully not

 

DX/NWO was hokey fun - if you're gonna do a legacy spot it's hard to do better than that

I remember Taker looking really good in the ring considering he was terrible at 30

seriously rewatch that Mania the next time you want to watch a random PPV - it's so good

plus I thought Becky Lynch was supposed to be a badass? they booked her terribly throughout that match.
