I agree. Also, I think I've seen people say the new song reminds them of every ETID album since Hot Damn (except maybe Ex Lives). Just goes to show how consistent (and good) this band is.

Very close! I made a few minor corrections based on the lyrics they posted on YouTube:

Dude... Come on, that's crazy talk. I like the new song too, but you think this is their best song out of their last 60+ songs?

Love the new song. Sounds like it would fit perfectly on to From Parts Unknown, which definitely isn't a bad thing.

yes :) I like it that much. and given their oeuvre, that's pretty impressive. I think it's their best song since Gutter Phenomenon.

I love the song but it doesn't touch "Moor" or "Partying Is Such Sweet Sorrow" or "We'rewolves" or "The Sweet Life" or "Romeo A Go Go"

But that said its a great song and is definitely in the upper tier of their catalog.

Well to be fair you've had years to warm up tho those songs.

And I really, really don't understand the fascination with Moor.

"Moor" is probably the best song I've heard from this band.

Alright, favorite song from each album:

Last Night in Town - Logic of Crocodiles
Hot Damn! - Hit of the Search Party
Gutter Phenomenon - Gloom and How it Gets That Way
The Big Dirty - No Son of Mine
New Junk Aesthetic - Goddamn Kids These Days
Ex Lives - I Suck (Blood)
    From Parts Unknown - Idiot

I think "Idiot" could be their best song.

I've only been a fan for about a year or so. They're a top 5 band for me now.

"Moor" is an incredible song, the atmosphere and that creepy organ and the story behind it makes it even more haunting. It's a good experimental track that pushes their sound forward in a cool way.

Idiot is a contender for my favorite. Also quite partial to Indian Giver.

This band is full of great songs.

For me it just sounds like dissonant instrumentation and a sub par vocal performance bei Keith. And I don't think it pushes their sound forward at all but represents a lateral shift.
Now I'm not saying that's a bad thing, I just don't happen to like it.

I think Revival Mode far better demonstrates them pushing their sounds in a skilful manner. Moor, to me, just feels like a failed experiment. See also: In Her Shadow by Converge.

I'll give you the haunting though, it's definitely an eerie track!

    Logic Of Crocodiles
    Ebolorama
    The New Black
    We'rewolf
    The Sweet Life
    Partying Is Such Sweet Sorrow
    Moor

Favorite b-side: Goddamn Kids These Days

To each their own. Keith's clean vocals sound great on "Moor"

I love "Revival Mode" though, great little rock track

Hey man if you enjoy Moor, more power to you. I think we can pretty much agree that everything else in their catalogue is great ;) plenty of common ground here!

    This is happening, huh? :D

    Alright, here goes:

Hot Damn - Floater (I also agree that this is probably their best song ever, but like by a hair. a very thin blonde hair.)
    Gutter Phenomenon - L'Astronaut
    The Big Dirty - We'rewolf
    New Junk Aesthetic - Wanderlust
Ex-Lives - Underwater Bimbos From Outer Space
From Parts Unknown - Old Light (if we can count Thirst as an intro)

Qhat a great discography, it was really hard picking favorites. Especially for Ex-Lives and Gutter Phenomenon.
