This is a good point. Ive never really thought about it that way. I'm not too familiar with how the whole release process goes when it comes to a single or album, so that's likely why my understanding of how things leak was a little blurry.

But this clears things up a bit.

 

There's a reason that it doesn't happen to every label though. Hopeless must be doing ~something~ different.
And I know for a fact that other labels get their stuff out and it isn't leaked until announcement day at the earliest

 

Maybe not anymore, since all is quiet on the Russian super uber leak site ;)

This was my exact reaction too. My face was a question mark as I was listening to it.

 

I just thought it was interesting, especially since it was released recently. It also adds to the discussion of the relationship between Ryan and Alyona. Don't really know what to think of it.

Well, I never thought I would hear a new Alyona Alekhina song before I heard a new Yellowcard song. So there's that.

Hell back in the era when the first Forever Came Calling album came out, it was ridiculously easy to find pre-release streams on Pure Noise's site if you knew what you were doing.

 

Oofah. That song is rough to listen to. Sounds like it was recorded in a bedroom over Skype.

 

It's not global or on all the platforms then. And a good portion of them do leak early if they are. I can't name a single label I don't have almost every single release information early if I want to look for it. Not a single one.

 

I never knew she song. And that ending made me laugh. Song was cute until she just got angry.

From what I've seen since her accident, their marriage & forward, I'm very curious if Ryan will touch on any of it during the new album.

His solo EP work from Kickstarter may have already done that.

Either way, I wish them both the best. I know Ryan's mom still keeps in touch with Alyona and refers to her as a daughter.

Good point about info, that doesn't necessarily entail the audio of the track. Whether correct or not, the information on this supposed single leaked more than a week in advance.

 

Not... bad... I guess... considering English probably isn't her first language. But yeah, interesting.

 

Make Me So is the single going on the WT compilation.
