Working through the two Meet the Candidates episodes of the current affairs podcasts and I think they do a good job going through pros and cons and everyone. Everything I know about Williamson I learned this morning cuz of them lol

So, in Chicago, we are looking at 23% turnout in the Mayoral race with only 2 hours left until polls close.

Ugh.

 

I don't get the functionality of a vest - why would I want my arms cold. They just seem illogical

 

it keeps your core warm without overheating the rest of your body, it allows more range of motion when reaching for hand holes without bunching up or riding up, and it's more compact than a regular jacket for packing. i can't remember the last time my arms were cold though

 

also last night my council voted to direct us to prepare information and a draft resolution declaring our city a "sanctuary city" for firearms in response to the red flag bill that's gonna be signed we can be a sanctuary city for guns but not for people cool

 

What the fuck Denver did this?

I’d probably put my top 3 logos as Castro, Bernie, and Gillibrand. No particular order.

Hickenlooper’s would be perfect if he were running for something (ahem senate) of Colorado, but not so much President.

Warren and Klobuchar are straight up boring. Kamala is good but maybe a little too much. Beto’s is kinda cool. The rest are meh.

 

We need way more good senate candidates, nothing changes if Republicans keep blocking shit. If people start dropping are they just going to do nothing or can some still run for Senate?
