A few years later they did a show at a skatepark in east Plano (maybe it was an acoustic show? I feel like it wasn't full band) and the whole time I was excited to talk to Cody again and remind him of what happened that day and thank him and by the time the show ended I was so teary eyed that all I could do was tell him they did great.

none of my conversations with band members have ever gone how i wanted them to when i wanted to thank them, so i feel this.

Cody did this random solo acoustic tour in like...07 that had a stop in Chattanooga that i went to and i got to say "thanks for writing incomplete as a leech it's really meant a lot to me" and i found out in 2015 that it's a song he completely despises and refuses to play anymore so i'm glad to see we've both had unexpected conversations with him at acoustic shows

sidenote: incomplete as a leech as a song title makes that sentence hilarious
