I'm surprised they added still added big bands like TSSF and the Used. If I booked a fest and it sold out in 3 days I would have cancelled any extra bands to save on cash. But I guess we will now also see all the sponsors from Disrupt fest to offset the cost of these bands.

 

Not to hate on this lineup but it's crazy to me that I've been a fan of this scene for almost 20 years and there's less than 10 bands I'm looking to see at the AC Warped tour. and honestly, I wouldn't normally pay to see any of these bands at their own show but I'm going to this with friends.

I guess the bands I used to love just aren't together anymore or are doing other things

 

Man I love this lineup

Blink, Set Your Goals, Menzingers, Starting Line and Less Than Jake alone is enough for me to have made the trip lol

 

They did release more tickets but maybe it would've sold out again without the new bands added. If Kevin plans on doing more shows in the future, I doubt he wants to burn any bridges with the few bands that are still relatively popular in this scene. I was going regardless but the number of bands I'm excited for went up by 25% when he added The Used and The Story So Far

 

3 bands plus Blink without the original Line up is worth $200 for you? I used to love going to warped tour even if there were only a few bands but I just know how much money I'm going to blow over two days in the heat compared to what I used to do.

I also have been to Firefly and Electric forest which were both like $350 for 4 days plus camping and way more relevant artist.

Again, not trying to diss the lineup (I already bought tickets) but I guess it's just reminding me how old I am lol

 

I guess with the price point yeah does seem crazy lol I did pay $100 for Blink pit tickets last time they rolled through though so an extra $100 plus I also really want to see Big D, H2O, Anti Flag, ADTR, Good Charlotte, Man Overboard, FYS, Taking Back Sunday, Bad Religion, Aquabats, Thrice, Glassjaw, Quicksand, Reel Big Fish, The Offspring, Circa Survive

And most of the rest of the lineup are bands I'd watch aside from maybe 10

Makes sense. I know that there are a bunch of bands on this line up that people love. I guess the bands I grew up loving all broke up haha.

My guess for this, seeing which band is playing what day:

The Offspring/Bad Religion co-headline day 1, with The Offspring playing 2nd

NOFX/Jawbreaked co-headline day 2, NOFX plays 2nd

 

That's why I'm looking forward to the lineup. As a Canadian I have basically 0 chance of ever seeing Set Your Goals, Man Overboard, Valencia or The Starting Line again so this was huge for me. Mind you I got the $99 tickets so the decision was a little easier for me.

Yeah AC pretty much took a couple of the heavy hitters from mountain view and AC didnt give anything in return

I was oh-so crossing my fingers for Glassjaw. (Sigh)

 

Just keep trying. As soon as I saw the post from Andrew WK I clicked the link and it let me “view tickets” only for it to tell me none were available. I refreshed a ton over the course of 10 minutes and eventually I was allowed to actually put them in my cart.

I’m sure once the official warped account / Kevin actually posts something about it, more tickets will be available.

 

oh definitely! If there were 4 bands that I loved but broke-up and were playing Warped Tour, I'd be ecstatic. Especially at that price point.

I love the Starting Line but I'm in Philly and they play at least once a year here. Valencia and Man Overboard are philly bands also even though I'm not a fan

 

For sure. I can't lie I wouldn't likely visit Philly if it wasn't for this show, haha. But good to know a local so I know who to hit up to find the best cheese steaks!

 

Does anyone know how much of Man Overboard's set would be pre Self Titled. Everything after the B-sides album is an abomination in my book

 

Definitely man! Despite the angry drivers and the dirty city, philly is a great place. Lots of diversity, great music venues, great food, cool people, cool bars. If Philadelphia was on the West Coast, it would have a completely different reputation

 

$200+ fees now for two day AC pass

 

Hyro is a cool add, though kind of obvious since he's on the entirety of Disrupt. His set was really fun in 2012.
