I know my job is ending in around a years time, they've said that we're supposed to be brought into the new company but they can hire then fire us right away.

I've been applying at other jobs with similar pay levels, and it's just been denial after denial, I've had one phone interview. it's disheartening. I feel pretty useless lately when it comes to jobs.
