Interested to see who they cast for the main characters

 

I vote Anya Taylor-Joy, you know... already playing a witch once before and all.

 

Just get all the new wave of young horror actresses. Anya Taylor Joy, Joey King, Taissa Farmiga, Shahadi Wright Joseph (although she’s likely too young to be a realistic casting choice)

 

Downloaded the movie Possum last night, so might watch that this evening. I'm not sure if its really a horror movie, but looks great.

‘Babadook’ Director Jennifer Kent’s ‘The Nightingale’ Gets August Release

 

Farmiga is almost TOO obvious of a casting for the Craft.

 

The first woman to direct a Blumhouse film is cool, especially after that real bad interview where Jason Blum said there aren’t really female directors.

 

Not familiar with her writing/directing too much but I like her in most of the acting roles I see her in.

Hopefully the original cast gets some love.
Last I heard before the idea floating around was for a sequel, but I guess that's out the window now.

 

And for the love of my love of horror movies, please keep Chloe Moretz away from this.

 

Good actress, not a good track record on horror remakes

 

I personally really enjoyed Matt Reeves' Let Me In, and I adore the original. but I guess one doesn't amount to great track record either haha

 

I liked Chloe in Carrie and Greta

 

Haven't see Carrie, almost saw Greta recently, it's on my list.

 

I (personally) still feel this doesn’t even hold a flame to Let The Right One In. Even the name is a let down.

fair. i don't think it's better than Let The Right One In, but i think it's very well done, great cinematography. but to each their own.

Ma looks like it'll be really great as long as I can let myself forget the trailer completely.
