I can't get enough of that track-by-track breakdown from RockSound. I read it all the time like there's something new I'll discover, which is kind of sad. It's not even that great of a write up, but it's the best we have at the moment.

 

Me too. One thing I don't like in today's music business is the fact bands drop more than one song before the album comes out, I kind of want that special feeling of not knowing what to expect for each song leading up to the album.

I agree but with streams counting towards sales totals now, I bet that will become more and more the norm. I think 2 songs is fine just to keep the hype leading up to release but more its like I have heard like 25-50% of an album before its released which kind of kills it for me.

I'm still so into "albums" that I would rather just hear the whole thing at once.

It's a double-edged sword releasing songs early. One of my favorite bands Rebelution released four new tracks from their newest album, and they just happened to be the first four on the record... I loved it at the time, but after the whole thing came out, I immediately started the record at track 5 every single time. Kind of ruins the experience.

 

This is why I've been holding back on listening to Rabbit Hole too much. I probably overplayed BTD already and fear that I may end up skipping it on the record. Probably not at first, but maybe further down the line. We'll see..if it blends well between the tracks before and after it, maybe not.

Yeah if they drop another song I may be skipping it to save for release day. Kind of like when you buy a box of chocolates and you know there's some of your favorites in there but you save them for the next time you open the box.

At this point I don't think I care about the set list, I just wanna go and enjoy the show with my lady and friends and hopefully just grow some balls and propose to my girlfriend at the show.
