The one band that blows my mind for still being a thing is Panic!, I was dumbfounded when I saw they were headlining an arena tour and had Top 40 hits a few years ago

When I was working at a record store last year kids were coming in and buying tons of hip hop, and if it wasn't hip hop it was Fall Out Boy or Panic! or MCR and I was like ok cool keep the scene alive but how is this still a thing??

Urie did a damn good job reinventing Panic after all the lineup turmoil. He's done damn well for himself which is crazy to see

I honestly didn't think they would make it out of the early 2000s. But here we are, 2019 and they get more hype than FOB does now.

 

I can see how they’d still be successful but I’m a little salty that High Hopes is somehow a bigger hit than I Write Sins. It’s nowhere near as memorable or iconic.

 

The talent he has is unbelievable. He's funny AF too.

I’m mad Pretty. Odd got treated like a dirty dog by the fans, that was a solid album and they had a cool thing going. Then Ryan decided to make bland surf pop music and that was that

 

Oh I know, it’s just wild to me that he’s had a second wind of popularity with Panic! after their initial heyday.
