I saw that LAUNCH Music Conference in Lancaster is doing that. I think they did an Emo Night last year? It seems so strange to me to promote those two things but eh. Who am I to say anything?

Catching up on this thread and
1) the contrast between the JJR situation and the FTSK conversation is making me think the main problem with the scene (patent pending) is that creeps begin to blend and get protected way faster so that no one knows. People adopt leftism as an aesthetic almost. Just make your bad tweets and go so we can stop wasting everyone’s time (or just be a good person....radical concept)
2) emo nite la was in town a few weeks back which was my first time going as my friend had to hand out posters for an event. It was objectively bad, the dj repeated multiple songs (Ohio is for lovers. Three times) we’ll never getting to the main ones and one of the ppl hired to excite the crowd was creepy as all hell to my friend (do they sell creepy af shirts) it was fun to be with my friends but I’d definitely just order some pizza, pull up my own Spotify, and invite over friends for half the price next time
