I'm amped. They haven't been on MNF for 4 years and they haven't been on SNF for 11 years.

 

I doubt we let any 2019 picks go, since we don't have a 1st round pick, but he was saying that a 3rd in 2020 isn't out of the question it seems. I'm down for that.

The 2019 Colts are now officially the 2018 Colts + Devin Funchess

Which is kinda a bummer because I don’t think they were 1 Devin Funchess away from a Super Bowl

But is also kinda good because from here on out, everything they add (including their draft picks) is definitely a gain so they’re definitely coming into the 2019 season better on paper than they were in 2018

I agree with the whole “build through the draft” mantra and that their high picks need time to play and develop, but also it would have been nice to add an already established and developed player who is better than the likely best case of their incumbent. Like, adding a CJ Mosley to play MLB and bumping Anthony Walker to the strong side or upgrading SS would have been great and let them do that still but the team would also be objectively better next year. I don’t want to have the Packers’ offseason and spend stupid money on mediocre players, but something in the middle would be cool.
