The only Zelda game I played really was twilight princess and I didn't finish it

 

Alchemy Index and Vheissu was “peak” Thrice. I started losing interest around Beggars. I keep trying to listen to that album and Major/Minor but I always lose interest and stop paying attention to it.

Also, weird opinion - I think Legend of Zelda games kept getting better.

Of course the old ones deserve credit for being way ahead of other action / adventure / RPG games, especially on N64. Like I get why people praise Ocarina / Mask so much, because it was quite literally the best series on the N64.

But honestly the Wii Zelda games are fuckin amazing. Definitely one of those series that kept up with technology and gaming trends, and kept improving itself.

 

There still hasn't been another game to REALLY pull off what Majora's Mask did though

SO many pull off what other Zelda games do well

 

Idc though I'm not one of those people who demands new Zelda games so life goes on

 

I think Majora’s Mask is so weird and great. With that said, I laugh so hard at Jeff Gerstmann shitting all over it. I totally disagree with him but god damn it’s funny

I don't even remember the last time I played a video game.

We have an xbox and I've been asking fiance to get games I would play. I saw that they have a ton of old sega games on one. I'll play old school Sonic all fucking day bro.

 

Like why the fuck do you need to get farther and farther away from turn based rpg?? It's such an easy formula. Turn based battles with some nice little tweaks and possible enhancements to make the battles more exciting, a level up system that lets you customize your characters strengths and weaknesses in an original way and BAM i'm a happy man. Dragon Quest JUST DID THAT and it was my GOTY last year.
