  4. Picked up Puppet Master, Splice, and The Omen Collection today. I have to finish my Alien run-through first, but I've only seen the original and 2006 versions of The Omen. Excited to give the sequels a go!

  5. The Devil's Candy was solid. Not perfect -- and not as wild as The Loved Ones -- but definitely solid.

    "I'll chew on a dog!"

Early SXSW reviews of Pet Sematary are saying it’s scary as hell. It fucking better be. It’s one of King’s scariest books!

I don't scare too easily these days so I really just appreciate when a well-executed horror movie can unsettle me with atmosphere etc

Well when I watched Hereditary for the first time by myself at night with all the lights off....I was p spooked. Esp that first creepy part with the mom being in the dark.

For me I think it's more about the anxiety and creepiness factor.

Last movie that did that was Hush. That was easily the most tense movie experience I've ever witnessed

Hereditary was the last movie to truly frighten me. Not a movie but I watched the first season of Channel Zero a couple months ago and that might’ve been on the same level. Truly haunting.

Yeah. Ngl the girl dying in the car is probably the most shocked I've been in a while. But still wasn't scary

Watched Terrifier this weekend. Quite enjoyed it, I kind of liked the focus being on kills/gore rather than story. Worked for this type of movie. That one scene was pretty brutal, but I love over the top kills and gore.

Serving Jessica Lange tonight at my part time job. Super cool and I’m trying my best not to geek out.
