Ahh looks like I was in Montreal that weekend. Bummer. That one looks fun.

The year before was the same day as a Thrice show, so I missed the 1975 and Carly, but got to see Bishop Briggs and Steel Train. Good times.

Favorite shows:

Turnstile Time & Space record release w/Abuse of Power, Red Death, some others too.
Pianos Become the Teeth Lack The Lack Long After record release (they played it front to back) with Tigers Jaw, Balance and Composure
Bruce Springsteen @ Nationals Stadium
Green Day during the 21st Century Breakdown tour

 

This is in my top 10

I don't like that album at all and wasn't even really going for them but holy shit they're great live performers. Caught me completely off guard

 

It was incredible. I'll definitely go next year if the lineup is as strong. Sounds like it's usually really good.

 

Well, I actually preferred the second show I went to.

For real tho, that was a good time. I managed to get a date out of that show.

The first year was so amazing. I got all of my friends into Charli at that show which is all I can ask for.

 

You can't count your own shows.

But yeah, SXSW was pretty fucking cool. I saw Dessa three times in one weekend. lol

 

Yeah it was crazy, they played like three encores, one of them just Billie Joe acoustically.

 

Same but with Chance The Rapper hahaha it was a blast

First one definitely the best one and the best SXSW showcase I've seen (Meg Myers is up there though)

That’s top 10 for me too. That and then they played a super small venue here before Revolution Radio came out.
