For anyone interested,

Spotify's The Drop thingy is doing a video series on the making of California. Looks like a new video will be releasing daily.

I will not feel bad at all listening to a leak. Why? Because i preordered the album AND I bought 2 VIP ticket packages that also include the CD. So I have bought 3 copies of the CD already. No shame.

On a unrelated note, I bought We Don't Need to Whisper 3 times because it came with shoes and I picked up a copy at the store. Pre ordered Neighborhoods, but also wanted to buy a copy at the store.

 

Pretty much the standard stories of how Tom left/Matt joined if you've read previous interviews. Everything is great and happy now etc etc.

Couple of other things if you like the "drama" part of it haha: They found it hard to tell Tom they didn't want 3 minute intros without hurting his feelings. Mark says that Tom is "legally part of the blink corporation" but he doesn't consider him part of the band any more and they're working out some legal stuff with him.

Seems like Mark isn't even thinking about Tom at all but Travis is friends with him and they talk on the regz and he wouldn't close the door on him coming back one day but he's happier with Matt after all Tom's flip flopping on saying how he wanted to record after touring but never actually did it.

The saddest part was that they said there are no left over songs from the Untitled studio sessions! haha.

 

Can't tell if it makes me think if he is more or less insane....leaning towards more.....

Wow, wtf is wrong with that dude? It's funny because you know there are people who are like "yea Tom, you tell em!" #blinkforever.

 

Tom seems to always namedrop travis when he is defending himself

 

I think it will be hilarious if just all of a sudden we hear the Tom has rejoined Blink, and Mark and Travis are going along with it to avoid a lawsuit.

 

I don't want him anywhere near the fucking band. I'm tired of the constant drama surrounding him. Just wish he would shut his mouth for once haha.

 

I know, how long before Travis gives up on him too

 

I am really annoyed by him too. He should just stay out of it and leave blink as it is. Just stop talking about it.

 

Travis: "yeah dude, listen I gotta go..."

 

That article and Tom's post are just so sad and fucked up. As happy as I am with Skiba, I can't help but want them to patch things up.

 

It's most weird to me that Travis is still admitting to hanging out and talking with Tom. Not that they can't be friends, but Tom seems to use their friendship mostly to fan the flames of his "I'm still in Blink" fire. Doesn't feel entirely genuine from his side.

I think it's the same argument as being separated and divorced. He's away from the band right now, but hasn't signed the final parting papers.

 

Causes a media stir and then proceeds to make an announcement on Strange Times. Why am I not fucking surprised?

 

He just needs to stop talking... he's making things worse and worse every time he has an interview or a comment.

 

Can't wait to see what announcements he has on July 1st

when*. Shit is happening. I've thought it all along, since both sides have been somewhat quiet. I think Mark's statement in the new interview shows he doesn't want Tom back. I'm not sure how it works legally, but I'd bet that Tom comes back within a year.

 

Didn't he say he had some information he was going to release? I can't remember the specifics.

Also I wonder how many of his fans realize that if he is talking with "top level officials", he has no security clearance and why the fuck would any of these people share anything with him? It really makes no sense when you think about it.

Tom is going on as if he's learning things straight from the government, and acting as if security isn't a thing.
