the Orton comparison is kind of accurate. but then again he was/is(?) best friends with Trips and they goddamn rewrote the policy for him. it used to be "3 strikes you're out" and Orton had 2 for a long while. then the rewrote it to where you lose one of your strikes if you're clean for six months (or maybe a year) so Orton how technically has a clean record. also by that time Orton was with the company for a handful of years and was a big success for them. Reigns has only been around for 2-3 and while i have no idea what his merch sales are like and if anyone besides Vince likes him, there are distinct differences between Reigns and Randy for this situation.

 

This was predicted before MitB on reddit.

 

Does it matter if anyone but Vince likes him? Vince has the last call. So he could be HHH's mortal enemy and it wouldn't matter.

Interesting thing for Roman is this means he's not there for the draft either. So, when WWE makes its biggest change in years, they can only mention his name.

And the chants when he comes back. If he's getting hit with "you cant wrestle" chants after 3 straight epic matches, whats the audience gonna do to him at Battleground...

Make people guess match length for the main event. Closest wins. Or make them guess match finish spots
