thats WILD but nice.

 

I dunno. This album is very easy to listen to. I find that when I put it on I tend to just listen to the whole thing. With that said, I’m not sure I find it all that captivating. There are definitely tracks I adore (Fulton Street I, Rhodonite and Greif, You Ascendant) but there’s also a lot that just feels sorta there? It honestly kind of hurts to say. I’m hoping I just need more time with it. It’s still so fresh so we’ll see how I feel in the next few months.

 

I haven't been able to listen to anything else this week but this album (apart from new The National track obviously).

 

I fucking love this record, it goes off when it needs to but its really dynamic. Def my favorite La Dispute album.

Not really sure how to describe this, but its kind of like an interactive lyric video for the entire album. This has solidified Panorama as my favourite LD release.

the book that comes with the pre orders is really in depth about the recording/writing process and the themes behind the album. was a very cool read and so glad they included something like that.

 

I just ordered it. but does it say what amps and guitars they used to get these beautiful tones?? pedals? i need it all!!
