Honestly they're probably just waiting out Brady cause they know the Pats are guaranteed a super bowl appearance and the Giants are guaranteed to beat them

Damn. We could've signed Golden Tate and cut Marqise Lee and broke even. That sucks.

 

With a revamped line the offense won't be bad at all. The defense is garbage though. I have a feeling the two first round picks will be used on the D.

 

Hopefully we sweep Tate again. He was 0-3 against us last year.

In line with the kind of deals a guy like Sanders has signed in the past, so it makes sense.

 

Is Tate going to line up as their #1 receiver? Has he ever excelled at that anywhere?

He was the #1 in Seattle and he did pretty well all things considered in '16 & '17 in Detroit after Calvin retired

 

The interesting part is between Coleman, Shephard, and Tate, they now have a 3WR set that's all like 5'10"/190lbs

 

I wasn't sure if he was considered the #1 in either place because of Doug Baldwin and/or Golladay, but yeah I mostly agree.

 

He was more of the de facto #1 than anything else cause nothing about him screams #1 receiver lol. It worked well in Seattle because they were so run heavy

 

Yooooo that fantasy talk got me already hyped.

We are obviously MONTHS early, but I’m nervous about taking Barkley over a Zeke/Gurley/Kamara/CMC pool.

I fear it’ll be Gurley’s second year over again where they just stack the box and eliminate the run game since their pass game will be even worse. Tate isn’t Odell and Eli will only be worse.

 

This was my original point, there is no clear 1 out of them but theyre all good enough to be the 1, it will make for interesting matchups.

WR by committee without a clear #1 doesn't work. Ask the 2018 Cowboys from week one to week six, haha. Even though ours was even worse than I expected and worse than what the Giants have seem to put together.
