Twitch is a mess generally, I don't watch it as much as I used to but there are some streamers out there I really enjoy. I do watch pro gaming like LoL regularly, and occasionally CS and DOTA (though it's been awhile). As a girl who's been into gaming for my whole life and grew up with mostly male friends I've encountered enough bullshit to last the rest of my lifetime but people like Pewdiepie and other assholes like that really make gamers look awful and unfortunately that behavior is far too common. I've also met some amazing people who would call themselves "gamers" so it's a mixed bag, you really have to go offline and into communities to be able to filter out the toxicity.
