I don’t wanna fully spoil it but it’s similar to when they showed up randomly at people’s homes in the uhaul and played Bad Behavior.

 

Coming home from getting a breakfast burrito all hungover one Saturday afternoon and seeing these guys outside my neighbor’s house rocking out in the back of a U-Haul is definitely on the shortlist for most random events of my life

 

the person told me to be very tight lipped bout it and I already spilled the beans but yes this trumps that though

Also had discussions with person who told me because they got to hear three new songs early and said "slip the noose" and last track are absolute SLAPS

 

I've decided we've failed miserably at coming up with good terms for describing music.

I love the topic idea about the band progressing from where they were in 2007 to where they are now, not only in style but keeping an extremely loyal fan base while shifting musical styles various times. So, if there’s anything in that realm, I’d love to hear it too.

It’d be cool to hear them discuss more about them going independent and how it’s helped them grow an organic fan base/how they’ve grown as a band from that decision.

Like, how were they feeling as a band when they decided to go independent?

What was their plan when they decided to go the independent route?

 

Ask them if they’re ever going to repress some of their out of print stuff. I’ll happily buy a box set.

Also what’s one band they’d really love to tour with right now?

 

Yeah I think something along the lines of "how did you make your best albums 5-6 albums into your career" (but like, nicer) because I really didn't listen to them before LLL came out, and I can't really think of other bands from the scene that (for me) had such a massive jump in quality that late in their career. or maybe something about just maintaining creativity over that many releases, etc.

 

Seems too early for another single, maybe a music video?

 

So uh... did we know that the closing track of the album is 9 & a half minutes long??

 

Honestly I think it is probably single #3. But we'll see.
