It’s a NEW DAY yes it is, unless Vince does the HHH/Booker T story instead of the B+ player DBry story.

But seriously. I feel like Kofi will win the gauntlet match, then have to face KO or something early in the night just to get to DBry. It’ll be ridiculous, but if he gets the belt at the end of the night, worth it.

 

Just watched some of the smackdown highlights.

I actually want to see Randy vs AJ. The promo Randy cut before AJ came out was probably the best I’ve seen him cut since I starting watching again in 05/06. I also like how it’s a simple story, Person A doesn’t like Person B so let’s settle it in the ring. If they get decent time I bet they have a good match. As long as there’s no fuckin bug projections or shit like that.

 

Those AJ/Randy and Main Event segments were all-timers. Anyone who didn't watch SD tonight (which you should, it was really good), go back and watch those two promos specifically. Legitimately fantastic storytelling - imagine if Raw was anywhere near this good.

 

Man, Kofi has an amazing sympathetic face. His face through the first half of their segment last night was fantastic.
