Don’t wanna damage your street cred

 

I know it's stupid. I think it's pretty obvious that I don't have street cred. If @CobraKidJon saw me on the street, he'd steal my lunch money.

But I still look at those ugly, comfy-as-hell shoes and think they're beneath me.

I read comics. A lot. Especially Archie, which is about a clumsy girl-crazy ginger who somehow has two beautiful women competing for his attention. And yet, I see Crocs and Sketchers and go "nah. Those shoes are for nerds."

I know it's wrong. I know I'm wrong.

 

Thanks for being the only person who cared about that story.

This was a refreshingly honest. Makes me feel like I should drop the pretense and fully embrace/celebrate my true self.

 

To be fair, I feel like I’ve liked all posts related to it.

 

I literally just got those shoes because they were 30 bucks and i desperately needed new ones that weren't falling apart haha.

 

I own 5 or 6 pairs of shoes, but the only two pairs I consistently wear are a couple of Vans that each have holes in the soles of the left shoe. It probably says something about my walking pattern that I should get checked out.

I actually bought this special putty material that you can mold and stick to things to act as a sealant, and I used that on my favorite pair of Vans that I can’t give up.

 

I wore my new balance sneakers until they were falling apart but I have like 4 brand new pairs of random shoes in the closet because I buy them when they're cheap (<$20)

 

Just started wearing these off brand skate shoes and they're pretty comfortable.

 

for your information I wear sketchers to work.

I would never steal from anyone.

I wear adidas for my lifestyle shoes and my work shoes are sketchers and new balance shoes.

I’m not that much of a fancy man.

 

Sketchers makes regular sneakers too not just the ugly slip on one's (sorry @DesolateEarth )

 

I can't hear you over my bad, nerdy fashion sense.

 

I don’t want to talk much about my shoes because I’ll sound like a tool but my work shoes are doc martens

I need to pick up some ultra boosts before Coachella
