I’ve already listened to a few podcast reviews of CM this weekend. It doesn’t bother me because I knew going into them that spoilers would be discussed. I saw the movie Friday night too. You can release it whenever and anyone can listen whenever they want.

 

That’s what I do usually too. I let them sit until I see it. This is just faster than I usually do the episodes hah. Thanks!

 

I saw it last night. I’d give it a 9/10. I really liked that they made the skrulls the good guys

This was so much fun. Definitely a top tier Marvel flick. Was cool to see Djimon Hounsou reprise his role. Thanos is definitely in trouble.

I would love to see a gif of Carol scrolling through the different armor finishes.

 

$153 million for the weekend. $455 worldwide.

 

I still think Carol and Thanos will be more evenly matched than some in here think. We’re talking about a guy that KO’d Hulk in 10 seconds and you could tell that he did it with ease. Though, Thanos’ left arm is basically useless after doing the snap. I’m excited to see the two go at it.

 

The one I listen to most does their theatrical releases the week after they come out, and they announce when they're about to start getting into spoilers. I like that, though i usually wait until I've seen the movie to listen

The thing I liked the most about what they did with the Skrulls is that they were able to put a cool spin on them for this movie while also not foreclosing the possibility of some faction the Skrulls from being villains at some point in the future either. Talos said there are scattered groups of Skrulls all over the galaxy, which means they could always work in some rogue evil Skrulls in the future if they want to do Secret Invasion or something.

 

Secret Wars will probably be the next arc the MCU does

 

Mission accomplished, trolls. Hahahaha.

Glad to see this doing so well.

 

It’s going to be really fun when the next Star Wars comes out and these people are going to try again.

If anything, all this talk of white-guys not seeing it has just raised the awareness and boosted the sales, arguably. Which I'm glad for because it was a damn good film.

 

Yeah I was psyched for it to begin with, but I might've waited a few weeks if it weren't for the hate campaign against it

I honestly don't even get why they're railing against this movie. Wonder Woman didn't have any backlash that I heard of

 

Saw this last night and loved it! I'm a sucker for 90's nostalgia.

I also must live completely in the dark because I didn't realize there was any backlash against this movie until reading some comments in here. Isn't it pretty much inevitable that all these Marvel movies are going to be huge sellers anyway?

 

Its honestly a bit weird how much the assholes got to Rotten Tomatoes. The movie is at 53% among movie goers. How are there that many people behind sabotaging it?

I don't know how anyone could find it objectively bad, even with its flaws.

 

They're mad about Brie Larson making comments about representation and not needing to be talked down to by white men. I have literally seen videos, tweets, reddit posts, etc. where people have essentially said "at least Gal Gadot kept her mouth shut and just made a movie".

 

The trolls just feel like the Kree. Accusers out there pointing out something against their ways and trying to "bring justice to their empire." WELL, GUESS WHAT? Brie just $455 million kicked the hell out of your "supreme intelligence."
