Damn, I'm like the only one on here who loves Hustle.

 

I just feel like the chorus of High as a Kite falls a little flat, I really like the verses but the rest of the song doesn’t do much for me

 

Every day Hustle grows on me more. I actually really enjoy it.

 

I could listen to Rivers sing “your band sounds like shit” all day. Laughed out loud the first time I listened.

 

I think it's fine. As I said the other day, I don't skip any tracks on the album and don't dislike any of them. Also, it was released like, five months ago, so the other songs are just more refreshing right now.

 

Too Many Thoughts In My Head is one of the best songs on here.

Well I do like it a lot, and I think the music really fits with the lyrics in a thematic way if that makes sense

 

Yeah agreed. It feels like a sound they haven't really touched on before, but is pulled off well imo

 

Hustle is probably my favorite atm which is hilarious because I hated it on first listen and completely wrote it off.

 

Damn, looks like this is debuting at #17. Still better than PD did, but I was kinda hoping with all the Teal buzz they could get back in the top 10.

 

This generated a lot less media buzz than the Teal album did. Which sucks.

 

It's tough to crack the top 10 cause rock gets so few streams. Like Alkaline Trio's last album was 9 in sales and I think in the 60's on the overall chart

Still so weird to me the Teal album did so well as a surprise album

 

I hope this doesn’t convince the band to just keep pumping out low effort covers

It sounds like the next two albums are all planned out and a lot actually completed so I'm not worried about that

I thought Hustle was bad/weird when I first tried to get into it but now I think it's an undeniable, irrefutable JAM

 

Yeah I'm really looking forward to hearing how Hustle sounds live next week.

 

I think it did so well because it was a surprise album.

 

Yep now that you mention it, it looks like on pure album sales this will debut at #3. What a crazy difference streaming makes!
