Yeah, I'm curious if they're really going after him. I read that after the recent restructures, they're around $16 million in cap space. Am I misunderstanding something or is that nowhere near enough to entertain that, as well as have money for draft picks? I can't imagine that they'll be able to cut or restructure enough players to make up the amount of money for a top 3 position player?

I got Dillard as my 3rd pick so same ideal. I even pulled Hakeem Butler for you lol.

I'm sure they wrote a deal that'd be terrible for Pittsburgh that could net them AB, and just said "we'll do our due diligence and if they take this awful deal we win and if not who cares because we don't want him badly anyway"

Yeah that right there is a hell of a draft. And honestly not totally unrealistic either, Jones at 30 is pretty low and ridiculous but I mean it seems if any QBs fall, it’s the ones with the less strong arms. (See: Teddy Bridgewater at 32). One first round QB falling to the bottom isn’t out of the question, considering there’s multiple QB being watched but they all have big question marks.

I believe they are closer to about 21M in available space right this moment. Plus they have some high dollar guys that they still haven't made decisions on such as Nelson Agholor (9.38M), Michael Bennett (8M), Jason Peters (13.1M), Stefen Wisnewski (3.7M).

Not sure what else they do between now and Monday but I bet they are sitting around 30M come the free agency opening so they'll have plenty of flexibility to do what they want.

Not sure if Bell is realistic for the Eagles but I would love if we could go back to a workhorse back with possibly just 1 third down back.

Last years RB carousel of garbage sucked.

    Lets Go. Prestigious

Eagles should sign Bell and then draft a WR like Parris Campbell or JJAW in the first 2 rounds

    that offense will be sick

Can't stop drafting. The Patriots are so weird this year where other than Kicker, RB and Punter, there isn't a position they could draft that i'd be mad about.

If BB drafted a punter would you really be mad about it? The guy knows his punters and if he drafts one he's gotta be an amazing punter.

I'd prefer to keep Wiz and Bennett at those numbers for sure but I trust Roseman

This is honestly one of the least talented Patriots teams Belicheck has ever fielded. The Super Bowl was all him and Brady imo. They really could go any direction in the draft.

Precisely. I like Nelson Agholor and have really been pulling for him to become a consistent contributor to the offense but his entire career he's been scorching hot or a complete non-factor. He's absolutely not worth the cap number he carries. My dream scenario is:

Sign Le'Veon Bell. Draft a WR with one of their top 3 picks in the first two rounds. Trade a late rounder 6th or whatever for a flyer on John Ross and go to work.

That is the one thing the Eagles have not had in years is a consistent deep speed threat. Even if they don't see a ton of balls but having a John Ross type opening the field up for Alshon/Ertz/Goedert, etc. would go a long long way.

Yeah I really don't want to lose Bennett, but with those recent articles coming out about them possibly shopping him I'm just not too sure what to think

So i meant early on so if they do like a 5th rounder whatever who cares...BUT

Go back and watch the Super Bowl and tell me Ryan Allen isn't awesome lol.

I also want to keep both but doesn't sound like that's going to happen. My guess is they find a taker on Nelson Agholor as well as Bennett. Probably cut Wiz and see if Peters will come back with a majorly reduced salary. If he declines, he may be gone as well.

Parris Campbell looks precisely like a Philadelphia Eagle. Totally fits the part.

Oh I was raving about Ryan Allen during the Super Bowl hahaha. He's a favorite punter of mine, extremely good. Hence why I think if BB drafted one he'd have to be like the best punter of all time haha.

Jets must really like someone at #3 and are staying put, we currently don't have the right assets to acquire Brown *sigh*

Beasley is still making a stink on Twitter about not getting $20 million over 3 years. Give me a break.

Love him as a player and he is a great slot receiver with vice grips for hands, but my god, have some perspective. You are not getting that kind of contract anywhere, bro.

Eat some humble pie or go kick rocks.

I bet that's why we're interested in Duke Johnson, since he's pretty good at being a receiving back. Line him up in the slot.

    Ugh, whatever.

Whoever pays 20M to Cole Beasley gets laughed at for eternity. He's a nice little slot guy who has killed the Eagles but good god he is not worth that whatsoever.

They have a small chance to get Quinnen Williams. I wouldn’t trade out of that pick ahead of the draft either. I would bet on Williams being a can’t-miss defensive stud.
