Not really. Dead money of 12M this year (which is a lot but, really not horrible for a QB) but almost nothing guaranteed next year

 

People are shitting on gettleman for not getting a qb, not trading Landon Collins, waived okawara for nothing and he just got an extension because he had 8 sacks for the lions last year, traded snacks for a 6th round pick. JPP also had a sick year. You traded your mid round picks for a linebacker who can't cover for shit. So what the fuck do you have? The answer is somehow not cap space or a top 3 pick. Enjoy gmen

 

I think we need a healthy reliable offensive line even more haha. Imo that’s Foles’s biggest problem, he’s awkward under pressure

Gotta draft an OT, a G, AND hope that Robinson, Linder, and Norwell are healthy this year

He definitely is, but I feel like he has pretty good vision. There were times when the pressure came and it would look like he just kinda tossed it up - but one of our WRs would come down with it.

Oh yeah he definitely understands anticipation when he has options. But if the pressure gets there before the play develops, he doesn’t know how to buy time / his footwork falls apart when the pocket is dicey

He also has a tendency to overthrow passes off his back foot when he’s a little panicked. It’s a common flaw, but he’s a 30 year old QB and that’s a habit he should break by now. Which occasionally leads to safety interceptions

 

And this is why I have a hard time believing they make the playoffs.

I’m just trying to be realistic. Foles is a good option for a FA QB but he’s not gonna like, save our team haha. Our offense still needs work, and needs depth because we could not handle injuries last year & we have multiple key players (top RB, OT, WR) who are all having injury problems
