I've been waiting for Mambo Number 182 for so fucking long.

They still have 177 more songs left to go before they get to that one, I wouldn't get your hopes up any time soon.

Well they keep saying Feldmann is a workaholic song machine who lives in the studio. LET'S SEE SOME FUCKING PROOF!

Random story: I've hated "Mambo No. 5" with a passion ever since my friends and I decided to get lunch one day and someone had apparently paid to have it on loop on the jukebox all day long. The service was terrible and our waitress forgot all about us, so we sat there for nearly an hour listening to that song. Finally another song came on the speakers and everyone in the place let out a collective sigh of relief. Sure enough, once that song was over we hear "1, 2, 3 4 5..."

  6. hahaha totally something i'd do

one time i made a CD for my girlfriend and had it start up when she got into the car for work in the morning, and it was my voice saying "hey, i just wanted to do this for you because i love you" blah blah blah, and then i recorded some acoustic guitar and right when i take a breath to start singing the song changes to "Slide" by the Goo Goo Dolls and then repeats on the CD for nearly 80 minutes, but there's a random track of "Iris" in there somewhere. hahaha.

I was out with friends once and someone was playing heavy metal opera repeatedly on the jukebox. No one, besides those two people, were enjoying it.
So I paid extra to skip their songs and played Let it Go so many times in a row the staff eventually just shut it off.

I had a burnt copy of California in my wife's CD player in her car and every time I took her car somewhere I would set it so as soon as she turned the car on "Built This Pool" would play.

An even greater hell is the time my iPod broke like 10 years ago. I had loaned my entire CD book to this girl who wanted to burn them all to her computer, and she proceeded to ignore all of my texts and calls when I attempted to get them back. The real kicker is that I still had one album in my CD player at the time.... I-Empire. I listened to it for like a month straight before I decided to just ride in silence to class every day.

Me and friends used to slowly drive past crowds of people and loudly crank up corny music on the stereo cos we were jerks (I still am. It was my idea.) and Mambo number 5 was an incredible song because it starts off without music and just him saying "Ladies and gentleman, this is mambo number 5" which is a real attention grabber. (It's still funny I don't care. Shut up leave me alone.)

Lol just this weekend I was dropping off my sister at a soul cycling class and I had the windows down blasting “It’s Gotta Be You” Backstreet Boys.

    Never gets old.

My main go tos In high school were Vacation by Vitamin C, and Cset la vie bewitched.

From Travis Snapchat looks to be with Pharrell in the blink studio. All these outside colabs/producers has me stoked

  16. Well hot damn. That's got me as curious as it's got me excited as it's got me nervous. Haha but whatever, I'll take whatever they throw at us.

  17. What gives away which studio they’re in? Ie a blink one vs another one?

The curtains/drapes on the wall and the same studio monitors are pretty telling it's the same studio.
