I'm always down for a movie to be 90-110 minutes.

 

Yeah that’s all I meant. When I hear teaser I think very broad, non-plot related. Like the parts with them standing in rows or sitting to eat, walking through the woods, just enough to get the visual ideas and then something to make it clear that this is not all fine (like the breathing). I hope most of what is shown is misdirects. The bodies in the tent have me concerned...

 

"Teaser trailer" has lost all meaning.

 

I’ll wager one internet dollar that the two aren’t connected. That she’s looking at something but it’s audio from a different scene.

Looks nice and fucked up.

 

The recent Twight Zone one with Peele on the football field was good.

 

I want WJH to live and I’m prepared to be very hurt when he doesn’t.

I do worry about the gore for sure. I could handle Hereditary but if he goes too much further I’ll tap out.

I can’t wait to see what this cast does

 

I'm super glad I watched the trailer for hereditary because I thought I had some idea what was going to happen the little girl (charlie?) being possessed or the main force of evil and they completely subverted that and it was pretty impactful the first time i saw it. Good trailers should do that.

 

Florence Pugh was so good in "Fighting With My Family." Can't wait to see in more stuff.

 

This could be 100% bullshit, but would be an interesting.

 

Me thinks there's gonna be some eye-gouging in this one.

What couple in Midsommar are they referring to?

 

The fact that she acknowledges them makes we want to believe.

The couple from the poster/presumed to be the main couple in the film. I don’t see it being anything other than a coincidence, or acknowledged in Midsommar if it somehow was intentional, but I’m down for him to have a director trademark of hiding his next protagonists in prior features.

It’s very interesting to me that the couple is so prominent on the poster and in his descriptions of what the film is about, and yet they aren’t shown together except for the group hiking shot. I feel like something really awful is being obfuscated about them.

 

iirc Ari said this film is about a breakup

 

Yeah I didn’t want to spell it out, lol. I feel like that is all very intentional in being left out.

 

Dunno if I want to watch the trailer. I went into Hereditary entirely blind and that was the best horror experience in a long long time.
