I read today that they started recording CA with Feldy in January 2016 and finished recording CA in early March 2016. They should be about done if they’re remotely following a CA timeline. Idk if bands actually do that, but whatever haha. It’s fun to speculate.

 

Pretty sure they're taking their time with this one. Didn't they start writing and recording in the Spring of 2018?

Really is like night and day now between Pre Untitled to Post Untitled. Seems like they are almost like there are 4 separate bands really (Pre Untitled, Untitled, Reunion, Skiba-182).

I’ll never forget the local bowling alley playing TOYPAJ front to pack on every “laser light” night hahaha.

That and my friends always blasting TOYPAJ at the beach.

 

I always listen to TOYPAJ when I mow my lawn. I used to listen to it mowing my parents lawn growing up - so now I do the same with my own yard. When my son is old enough he'll be listening to it as well. Maybe. Haha

 

Everclear - So Much For The Afterglow was my go-to ‘mow the lawn’ album haha.

 

I think my lawn mowing albums were Korn Follow The Leader, Limp Bizkit Significant Others, Blink Dude Ranch, and a few mix tapes from the radio

For anyone interested in Tom's Fender days. This dude, Jon, spoke directly with the guy who built Tom's custom shop strats and got some cool answers regarding some of the guitars.

 

For sure. I had already been listening to blink for long enough by the time Untitled came out that I had kind of moved on by that point and didn't even give it a try until about a month after it came out. It was like I rediscovered my love for them because it felt like an entirely new band for whatever reason.

 

Never really listened to Goldfinger but I just looked up the lyrics....WTF???

Has anyone thought of how Golden Showers is basically The Rock Show? Except for the short opening riff. The main riff, the chord progression, the chorus, all follow the same structure as the rock show haha. Atleast to my ears.
