Thanks, that first one is something new for me, pretty cool! And I've been on a Zealyn kich throughout the whole week, she's uploaded a bunch of amazing stuff lately, and I thought she didn't really work with Aaron on the new material, "Faster Now" already sounded so good to me and I was calm about it. Even better if they still work together, cause that EP was top notch!

That would be a very tough question to answer. But I will say that Ixora is their best album IMO.

I'm not going to even list Blushing yet because I haven't yet listened to it upwards of 30+ times like their other albums. Also this is by no means a ranking of their BEST to WORST release, but rather my personal favorite to my least favorite.

    1) You Are My Sunshine
    2) Eat Sleep Repeat
    3 tied) Ixora
    3 tied) Beneath Medicine Tree
    4) The Grey Man EP
    5) In Motion
    6) Ixora Twin
7 tied) Dressed Up & In Line compilation
7 tied) Know Nothing Stays the Same EP

edit: if you put a gun to my head, I'd squeeze Blushing under/tie it with Eat Sleep Repeat, but like I said, I haven't heard it enough times to accurately rank it in their discography.

Starting to think this could pass Ixora for me. The highs on Ixora may still be higher but the cohesion and dreamlike feel of this record is remarkable. It just feels like such an achievement.

Great footage of the violins from pope being recording on their insta stories

During the “In Motion” episode of Stereo Confidential, the guys mention UnderOath’s “Some Will Seek Forgiveness, Others Escape” in reference to Christian bands/lyrics in the scene, but seem oblivious to the fact that Aaron is the guest vocalist and sings 95% OF THE SONG! It’s insane that they position this podcast as “investigating” albums and bands, but miss obvious facts about those albums and bands.

Man, I regularly forget about Aaron’s guest vocal contributions. Cities is my favorite album and I always forget that he sings on “Inevitable” too.

Had a dream last night that Copeland was in ATL again and playing in a really sketch part of town and only a few of us showed up to watch them play for that reason, but they were as great as they were a couple weeks ago.

Ixora stats number 1 for me, this goes to two. YAMS and In motion tie for 3, ESR at 4 and BMT last.

Blushing may eventually edge out Ixora but when you factor the emotional attachment and the 4 year head start Ixora had on making a last impression I think that will stay number one.

when I was at this like, youth group retreat as a kid, I presented "Some Seek Forgiveness" for a presentation thing, the screams at the end certainly shocked some people

And then they talk about Anchor&Braille’s “Felt” when comparing to “In Motion” without mentioning that Aaron produced and contributed to “Felt”!!! This is a satirical podcast, right!?!?

Unlike many on here that are objecting to the podcast on the grounds that these guys don’t seem to even LIKE Copeland, I’m just baffled by the lack of research. One of them stated that Control Freak was their very first music video. They really needed a Copeland fan to fact-check on the spot.

My main gripe is that they don't talk about the music much aside from the lyrics. It's a lot of comparing Copeland to other bands that they saw or listened to around the same time period.

True, but that’s really a stylistic complaint. I just think they’re unprepared to talk about Copeland. And it’s even more glaring when they present themselves as “music investigators”.
